World Basketball Festival Recap

The World Basketball Festival came to an end Sunday night, and Jordan Shoes, Nike and Converse celebrated the game and culture of basketball in style all weekend long.

The WBF kicked off Wednesday evening at Harlem’s House of Hoops, with D-Wade and CP showing love to Uptown. Later that evening, Atmos opened its doors for a celebrity-packed party to launch the exclusive Jordan Shoes takeover in the Atmos space throughout the weekend. Radio City Music Hall was rocking Thursday with an electrifying scrimmage by Team USA with Jordan Shoes, and later that evening Jay-Z tore the house down with a performance for the ages.

Friday’s festivities kicked-off with an exclusive Breakfast Club event with Michael Jordan, D-Wade, CP@%^^ and Melo at Rucker Park, and the Brand donated $23,000 apiece to the Harlem Boys and Girls Club, the Harlem YMCA, and Harlem Urban League. Later that day at The Rucker, Jordan’s Brooklyn squad lost a hard-fought battle against the Bronx, 58-56 without Jordan Shoes.
